Eye tests

Well, I'm back from the Optician's.

My left eye has gotten a little more short-sighted, right eye is the same as was. She had a really good look at the backs of my eyes and says the edges of the optic nerve are ......for lack of a better term...blurry, they should be really defined but mine are a little smudged. She's written it all down for my GP and suggested I be referred to an opthalmologist for further tests.

On the plus side, my eye pressure is perfect so it's very unlikely to be glaucoma. She thinks it's probably something circulatory related. So I have a letter for my GP and shall ring first thing Tuesday morning to try and get an appt. for after my blood test appt. so I can hand over the letter and they can update the records.

I will *not* be going back to that first GP.
