Looks nice so far

I've designed a new cowl/hood thing. The collar part has vexed me a little, I chose a nice leaf chart but it didn't agree with the technique so I had to choose another:



Glad I went with this one now, the other leaves were bigger and would have looked very out of place.

Now I'm wondering if I want to put the navy blue in here at all, originally I plan a simple pattern of blue chevrons above the leaves, to mark the change from neck to hood but I'm pondering just another row of leaves going the other way and leaving out the blue altogether.

In me news: my back, left shoulder and arm are....not exactly sore. Out of sorts. I am too, no idea why, just feeling, as hubbie put it, like I'm not firing on all cylinders. Hopefully this morning's knit'n'knatter will help me get back to being me in the emotional state anyhoo. Physically I need to adjust myself. Hopefully the weather will be nice today and when I get back I can have some lunch then take Pippa for a walk and we can both click and crunch things back in place.

It doesn't help I've broken my chair. The springs are going soft so I need to get a board to put under the cushion, right now I have a collapsed cardboard box but that's going soft almost as quick. Chairs like this are not designed to be sat on for most of the day. I'd swap it for my rocking chair but the two take up dramatically different space and if I did I'd block off access to the front door.

Eh well. If the weather's nice I can go sit in the back yard in said rocking chair and enjoy some sun later.
