books, books, books!

Well, yestrday my Amazon books arrived, fascinating browses, I'm just bursting with ideas!

Then today, just as I'm sorting some bits and bobs the postie knocks with another Amazon book that I ordered weeks ago, "Afghans, Traditional and Modern" by Bonita Bray. I ordered this to do the nautical flag one for my Dad's 60th (in 3 years, should manage it! ;) but I foresee me doing more of them, they're wonderful.

I've PM'd the lady in the US who's kindly offered to forward yarn from Knitpicks. I shall need 36 balls in total, just glad it's only US$ 1.99 per ball!

I already bought the hook and cable for that so it's only yarn cost now. Should keep me busy atleast, especially as I will be needing American Sarah's help photocopying the chart so I can actually read it!

Anyhoo, I'm watching wild animal rescue and need to knit more easter chicks for the school.

I'll put up photos later this week, I think hubbie has nicked the camera again!
