I don't know why I will switch to going to bed at 4am if I get the slightest opportunity but I do.
Alison gave me the re-knit front and back of the Medina top on Monday. Sewed it all together yesterday, think I did a damn good job. Just need to spend a little time doing the i-cord collar and it's done. We're going to Texere on Thursday so I plan to get it all done and sorted by then and drop it off before I meet Alison.
That's assuming I'm well enough. Something has been niggling at my system since Tuesday morning and I'm hoping it's just readjusting to Tod air. Y'see, up on Orkney there were HUGE open panoramas and always a breeze if not a wind so coming back to the close air of a valley with humidity and warmth it's hit the system a bit hard.
So, yeah.
I'm pretty damn certain Nushu is deaf but at the same time she's not screamed nearly as much today and is happy enough in the big cage with Smithy, David and Fred so we shall see. I'm going to ring Jean today and ask if she'd tested for deafness and let her know how we're progressing. Jo pointed out that if Barry can share with Thomas why did I get another? Honestly? There was a gap. I felt we needed another about the youngest age and this little girly may well fit the gap.
I hope we get some decent weather tomorrow, I want to use the back yard for some air and maybe spinning.
I'm knitting a test-knit capelet at the mo. and need to get on with that. I did a whole chart repeat and have another 10 to go. It's not tricky or anything I'm just having "knitting dribble" as someone on Phoenix forum described it. I can't really get into anything, knitting, spinning, books, I just want to sit and veg.
Aaaaanyhoo. I'm going to go bed.
I do have an item I dearly want to share photos of but I need to post it to Clickyneedles first. Will go visit the PO either today or Friday, depends on what else I have to do.
