Okay, I don't usually use l337sp3ak or however one spells it but this is important, IMHO

I am now the happy owner of:

1 Ahsford Traditional spinning wheel
1 Pair of "good quality" carders
1 full size niddy noddy

Huzzah!

Alison, being the wonderful friend she is, kindly drove us to last night's Valley Fibres meeting where we sat and knit and generally chatted with like-minded peeps and I chatted with Sue about the procurement of above articles. The wheel fit fine in the back of Alison's Ford Focus and is now in my living room.

I cleared out the carders using a knitting needle to persuade the bits of wool up and out and linseed oil'd the wheel. Spun 5 rolags of Jacob already.

Ranyart who extremely kindly turned a new drive whorl for my other wheel has said I can sell it on so I shall list that shortly. Going to put it up on Phoenix first methinks.

So, yes, happy Fluzzlewett!

Now I go to list wheel, have lunch and watch The Zoo
