Diploma Gold 4-ply

While this is a lovely yarn and very probably good for socks it's an absolute sod to crochet. I found some vintage doily patterns in a Google Book that's free to download so I grabbed the nearest ball of yarn and started, gah!

So, yeah. As I'm not a sock knitter and it's not really a colour I'm keen on, does anyone want approx. 8 or 9 balls of this? I bought it off someone when I thought I might re-try socks but I never have and I'd rather it gets used than sits. £10 including postage inside the UK? £7+ postage outside UK?

It's a 50g ball, 184m/201yds 55% wool, 25% acrylic, 20% nylon in shade 4224 which is a sort of deep sea greeny-blue

I can only try so many things with a yarn before I look at it and despair and as I already tried to knit a sock with it then crochet this doily I can't bear the stuff.

I just might be interested in the yarn you have. I'm on Ravelry and you have me as a friend (added yesterday) - Contented Kyrie. There is a story behind the choice of name. Let me know what steps to take for the yarn if it is still available.

I probably am too late,
since it is so much of it, I might have wanted to knit a stole for sis (she is a green and blue girl), but I just saw your post now, so assume the yarnballs have gone to Contented Kyrie already.

too bad ;-) sleepyhead nana.
