Thank you Carol!

thanks muchly to Carol I now have the basics of spinning. Ladies and gents (if any read this!) I present to you, my second handspun:






I did this all at the Bear yesterday, I was spinning anti-clockwise though so I'm going to keep this as a single and have a go at dyeing it then maybe crochet it into something.

To give you an idea how much better having someone show me is, this was my first attempt:





It didn't help that I had no idea that when using sheep wool pretty much straight off the sheep it's a bad idea to use a spindle that weighs *very* little.

I'm having fun, just started a new bit spinning clockwise and am getting the idea.

Now I just need to know what to do with my first bit so I can actually do something with it and keep the spin in!
