My first sale-able bag

So, I decided to do one of the new bags I plan to sell. I chose the spider fabric which works well I think. Need to get more cord before I do the next one. It took me an hour in total including deciding sizes.

Before I sewed the bag I took a photo of the WIP holder idea I had. Here you see a crochet hook, the bottom is tucked in the pocket and there's a strip of elastic above sewn in several places. What ya think?

Both the bags, one infront of the other.

Both bags side by side. I think the inner bag is too short for a skein but it'd work well for a cake of yarn.

Any comments?

Looking good! And is the Singer your actual sewing machine? I'm jealous, even if it isn't. We used to have a very dusty, dirty old treadle Singer sitting outside at my childhood home. It got left there because it was heavy and no-one saw the potential value in it. I've since realised what a pity it is that it got left behind.

(The word verification is grave- kinda appropriate for the spooky, spiderwebby fabric)

Thank you both :)

Yes, the Singer is mine, handed down by my Mum. It's a hand crank and I adore it. It's also insanely heavy, probably mostly cast iron.
