Funky fabrics

So hubbie and I got the 7.15am bus to Halifax and the 8.40 to Bradford, we had a good browse, walked until my feet hurt, got yummy baguettes for lunch and did some shopping. We visited Waterstone's (oh how I have MISSED decent book shops!) and got a fair amount of books. I got the first two Twilight books after many recommendations and Inkheart which looks good. Hubbie got Nation for 1/2 price and is already half way through and been laughing regularly.

We eventually found Boyes after me asking a shop owner and a market stall holder, wow. It was like walking through an Escher painting with little flights of stairs all over the place, hubbie kept sighing while I spent 30 minutes in the haberdashery section. We chose some material ends, got some cut off rolls and I found some small crochet hooks and bead storage pots at good prices. I think I spent about £30 The material is for the knitting/crochet/spinning bags for my shop, this weekend I shall make some up and look into methods of wateproofing. I can get waterproof fabric but it's either solid colour and boring or that stuff you put on tables which is expensive and boring. Anyhoo, enjoy!
