You don't get rid of me that easy ;)
Before Christmas hubbie and I bid on a Wii on EBay and we actually won it. It arrived on Monday and as hubbie was out I got a whole day to myself, I completely forgot my Dr's appt but luckily it wasn't for anything serious, just to check my moles so I'll book a new one once life returns to normal. We both played on it yesterday, felt stiff this morning and played more today. According to the fitness test in the Wii Sports game I'm 68 and hubbie is 61, oops. We might get Wii Fit next month using my pay.
I still haven't found any fabric for knitting bags! I dearly want to make them but have not the material. We're going to Bradford on Friday so I hope to find material there.
I got two new fish on Monday, two clown loaches to snack on the rapidly breeding snails in my tank. I also managed to find a 60cm drip dish for the christmas tree, we moved it yesterday and the floorboards were soaked so that was a worthwhile purchase.
Finished the turkey meat yesterday and the ham joint today. We've been eating about 1 pound of meat each per day for the past week, no wonder I feel sluggish. Going to have a banana milkshake this evening and the very last bit of the ham in a tortilla with home-made coronation sauce.
Bought a new needle guage in town today since mine has gone walkies. I've got a feeling I accidentally put it in the needle bucket at the church so will need to check that next year as it's the only one I've seen with US sizes aswell as UK sizings and mm's
I finally found inspiration of what to do with the lovely pinky/purpley yarn Morgan sent me, I think it'll look stunning in a huge granny blanket with black. Hopefully will get some suitable size black tomorrow. I have some but it's a little too rough for my plan. The 2-colour shawl is nearly done (i.e. I'm on the last ball of the cream).
That's about it really. Going to go sort the laundry and then have some tea and zonk while the furballs go nuts. Later peeps.
