Blah

I'm in that strange state that is between-moods. Usually I oscillate gently around the mid-line, neither insanely manic nor suicidal but today I am smack-bang on the midline and it does my head in! It's like having a swarm of bees stuck in your head, there's a constant hum just out of hearing.

Something will send me one way or t'other soon I hope. I hope even more it's towards the happy side.

I've spent waaay too many hours on FaceBook in the last few days, I'm now a mafia don, a farmer and a pirate.

Have started half-cousins stocking, I'm doing a ribbed top on straights and then transferring to the DPNs for the colourwork. I've charted out "Alison" and a snowflake to go round the top and then the rest is charted for me.

The hexagon blankie is on hold as it's become too unwieldy for work, work is now the granny square one. I'm winding off 6" balls from the huge 400g balls to work with on the bus and at work before shifts.

My Christmas knitting/crochet list is getting longer and longer y'know, worrying as it's mid-September already.

I had the ferrets in the garden this morning, I went inside to rinse out a bowl and put some fresh water in it, brought it out, shoo'd the boys away from the door and shut it.....on Smithy's toes! He (understandably) squealed and then went off swearing when I reopened the door. He spent about a minute sulking and muttering before coming to me and having big hugs and scritches. No skin damage, no swelling, just sore tips to the two middle toes on his front right paw. Poor old man has a stupidly low pain threshold anyway and evil Mum went and trapped his paw in the door.

Ah well, so long as it's dry tomorrow I'm taking David and either Smithy or Fred to the Tod train station for their little fair/stall/thing they're doing. I was planning on taking Nushu until last night. I had her in Jo's office with me while the boys had the ferret room when I had to go downstairs for something so I took Nushu with me, poor thing was quaking in her fur by the time we got downstairs so no strange environments for her! On the plus side we're bonding well, Barry got her through the bars today and as soon as I came to the barrier she came running for a cuddle, awww.

Not really got much else to say. Hopefully I may see someone I know tomorrow.

Oooh yes, I won a bet. The bus driver who gives me a lift to work in the afternoons bet me a whole pound it would not rain before Monday well, it's raining. I win.

Later peeps.
