Pressies, more fabric and a telly

Cow print short-fur style fabric

Horse print fleece, possibly too big a pattern to work properly, might have to put this to my plan for double-knitting/fair isle bags

Pure wool ladybird spots

Clear PVC. Someone mentioned a clear pocket for patterns, I plan to experiment, apparnetly with waterproofing seam tape it works great.

This stuff is 'showerproof', i.e. you could accidentally drop it in a puddle and so long as you fish it out quick it'll be fine, it could withstand a quick shower or a quick nip through a downpour, it can also withstand leaky drink bottles.

These are some of my knitting related gifts, some gorgeous yarn from a personal swap between myself and Morgan, the fantastic box it came in (also included were some great dophin clothes pegs and some choccies) My PIL bought me a swift, alas, the one they got for me had been snapped by the posties, one arm had been broken off and another was split so MIL contacted the seller and my replacement arrived this week, isn't it gorgeous? Now I need a skein to wind......

Also, we got a Wii after Christmas, we won it on EBay for a very reasonable amount and then hubbie and I noticed our telly might be a bit small for Wii'ing (oh how many times we've giggled at that phrase!) and hubbie was talking about maybe a new telly and what size, next thing I know he's bought one! This is our new LCD telly, 27" widescreen and with 3 scart sockets in the back, no more scart box switching! I'm itching to unpack it but I can't shift the old CRT one so I have to wait.....darn. I have cleared infront of the telly stand though so we can get the CRT out easier.

So, yes, been a rather wonderful day today and I reckon the telly box is just the right size to block off the back gateway come warmer, dryer weather so the ferrets can explore the garden in relative safety. Ooooooooh! It's like a second Christmas.
