I love magic loop

My parents kindly bought me a set of Boyes Needlemaster interchangeable circs for Christmas and after some arguing with them and myself I fathomed magic loop. Oh yes, I like.

I'm currently ML'ing a gift for my "Igor Thwap" partner on Rav., I have her gifts, I've planned the special something but it'll have to wait until after I'm paid.

I've asked on the angel yarns forum for a cuff-down no pick-up heel magic loop sock pattern.

It's currently really heavily snowing. In the past 2 hours the rooves opposite have gone from wet and grey to cold and white, the snow is horizontal and varying in size from half inch to two inch in size yet there are still idiots speeding on the ungritted road. Off to work in 20 minutes, joy. Methinks gaiters and a scarf to protect me a little more. I'm going to have to wear the baseball cap because up where I work is the top of the valley wall and exposed 360' so if it's windy down here it's blustery to gale force up there and my warm, *waterproof* hat flies off while the baseball cap can be anchored by putting my ponytail through the hole at the back. Ah well, wet hair from the bobble down can be wrapped in a towel when I get home and clothes can be changed.

Brrrrrrr

This Sunday a group of us in the area are meeting at the Bear cafe in Todmorden for a knit'n'knatter. Carol is planning to give me my first spinning lesson and lend me a spindle and some roving to practice with, I'm paying her with a set of stitch markers. Helen is going to give me feedback on my project bags face to face in exchange for her own bag. I think I'll take my camera and see if I can get shots of spindle and roving in a bag and hopefully someone will have a sock on DPN's to photograph. I can then put those on my shop to show people that the bags really will take what I suggest.

Anyhoo, Nature calls so I'm going to go answer before braving the cold for an hour. Later peeps.
